FLOWERS....CHECK!!!

I'm so excited to say that I finally bought all of the flowers that I'll need for the big day!  We decided on silk flowers for numerous reasons and I'm really glad that we did.  My wonderful aunt will be doing the arrangments at her flower shop as our wedding gift.  Best of all, after buying ALL of the flowers, the wire, some vases, jewels to go in the bouquets, and some cute ribbon, the total came to $315!!!!!!!!!!!  I was so excited!  I'll post pictures of our loaded shopping cart soon! :)

We decided on stargazer lilies and roses as our main flowers.  My bouquet will have both white and dark pink roses with the lilies and the bridesmaids bouqets will only have the white roses with the lilies.  The boutonniers will be a very bright pink alstromeria with turquoise wire and blue ribbon (as will the mother's corsages, but those will also have some clear jewels in them!)

Flowers for Everything!

There are so many different types of arrangements that I'm having trouble narrowing it down.  Here are some of my favorite inspiration photos!

I like the decorative pieces in the one to the left.

I like the look of daisies and roses together, The daisies would be either white or a darker pink as well.

For the next flowers, I really like how the calla lily looks, but I'm not sure if they're exactly what I'm looking for.  Maybe if they added something else to it, it would look better.

Then finally, there is the daisy and lily combination. I really like this one, but I would have the lily be a darker pink.

I like the look of having a stargazer lily in there but I don't think that I would use ones quite this big. This is one that I found already made up at Crafts Direct.

MY BOUQUET!!!!!

Picture
I found this image on google images and this is EXACTLY what I was looking for.  Although the stargazer lily is more of a tropical flower, I love the colors and the boldness of it. It will be on the pricier end of the budget, but we've found some wiggle room here and there.  My bouquet will be a little smaller than this one, and the bridesmaids bouquets will be a smaller version of mine.

boutonnieres

The alstroemerias have the look of a lily so they will be used in the boutonnieres and corsages for parents, grandparents, and other special people who are helping to make our day even better!
